I love photography. I love being able to look through the lens and capturing what I see. I love being behind the scenes, a wall flower of sorts and watching the day unfold.
A fellow high school friend asked me to photograph his new journey.
It warmed my heart to see him so happy...and for his bride to love him the way she does. Love is awesome when it is as obvious as theirs is.
Rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck.
It sure didn't stop this bride from smiling from the inside and out.
Beaming, aren't they?
The groom's son, 8, was so emotional during and after the ceremony. When asked why he was so upset, he proudly said through the sobs, "I'm just so happy."
That was about when I threw that camera up to my face so that I wouldn't cry along with him.
The new family...blended families are as much of a blessing as a marriage.
This is called the switcheroo. Groom didn't fall for it, he ripped off the blind fold and just laughed, but quickly ordered ;) his bride to sit. :)
CONGRATULATIONS SHAWN AND DIANE. You guys are awesome and I enjoyed being there every step of the way. :)
