ah. The very wonderful age of 13. The teen years. Just the beginning of the teen years.

I can't tell you how often I reflect on my own teen years now that my own daughter is keeping ever so close to those same years.

This is Kirstin...she is awesomingly 13. Yes, I know "awesomingly" is not a word, but it kinda is in this case.

Northwest Indiana Child Photographer l Teens 13. Such a funny age, such an important start to the journey to adulthood. Kinda crazy. As much as you teach your kids while they are younger, now they come to age where those beliefs and values are put to the test. It's a really scary time as a parent, but I remember quite enjoying my teen years.

Kirstin, you are a very intelligent, strong, beautiful young lady. May you continue along that path and continue with your journey towards FANTASTIC.

Look who's back and it's a new holiday shoot. lol. Last time we saw Kiara it was Christmas. NOW....She's back for Easter. LOL

BAM!

I don't know about you, but nothing says Easter better than a sunny colored dress and a white bonnet. Am I right?

Kiara is such a good baby. I can't wait to see her for her ONE year photo shoot.

I have photographed this family on a couple of occasions. I love them.

They are fun, they are loving and they are active (c'mon 3 boys...that's just crazy-life there).

I'm a sucker for black and whites. :) HOW lovely are they? I mean, they can't get any more photogenic than this family.

PLUS, they let me photograph them at one of the most awesome vacant buildings in Michigan City, Indiana.

I big puffy heart this location..and this family.

Booger. Escapee...I think he was running up to give me a hug...YEP, I'd almost bet on it. ;)

WOW. I am terrible at blogging my sessions. There use to be a time that I blogged daily...guess that's a thing of the past.

Speaking of the past... :) Here is a 6 month old session (I think she was more like 7 or 8 months, but the concepts are the same).

Kiara is a special girl. She had Santa visit her for her session. LUCKY!!!

Right? Who has this much CLOUT to get Santa to come to their photo session? Kiara, Princess Kiara does. :)
